Terms of Service

1. Open-Source Library

The HumanVAD Python library is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions of the MIT License included in the repository.

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

2. Hosted API Service

The HumanVAD hosted API at zedigital-humanvad.fly.dev ("the Service") is provided by Z.E Digital Tech ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to the following terms.

2.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service to process audio recordings without the consent of all recorded parties, where required by applicable law
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Resell API access without prior written agreement
  • Exceed reasonable rate limits or abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users

2.2 API Pricing

API usage is billed at €0.001 per request for standard volume. Volume discounts are available and will be communicated separately. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

2.3 Service Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain Service availability. However, we do not guarantee any specific uptime or performance level. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

3. Sponsorship

Sponsorship tiers provide the benefits described on the pricing page at the time of subscription. We reserve the right to modify sponsorship benefits with 30 days' notice to existing sponsors. Sponsorship payments are non-refundable.

4. Intellectual Property

The HumanVAD name, logo, and website content are the intellectual property of Z.E Digital Tech. The open-source library code is licensed under MIT. You retain all rights to your audio data processed through the Service.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Z.E Digital Tech be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with these terms or the use of the Service.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
